We're in the early stages of plush-toy planning. Eventually we want to put out all the main characters but as a test launch we're going to do one. Problem is, we're having trouble deciding WHICH one to create. Now is your chance to chime in.

Buckley - there is no question about it. I want one of them all, but I see Buckley as the lunatic face of Pinkerton national park.

Man, that was a hard choice. I picked Martin. I'd just love having him sit on my desk.
Who are you using Mke? I started emailing for quotes last week. I'm planning on doing my own too instead of the licensing route.

Buckley's cute and all, and he is my second favorite, but Steve's "antlers" are iconic. I don't think anything quite screams "Pinkerton" the way that Steve and his "antlers" do.
The real question for me is whether to make them out of hard plastic and attach them in some manner or to make his "antlers" plush too. I think the hard plastic method would be truer to the character, but the plush would be cheaper because it would require fewer steps in the manufacturing process.
P.S. "Luke", shouldn't your signature banner be switched from "Danger's Coming" to "Danger's Here"?

I have a feeling they'll be plush with a bendable wire in them so you can "pose" them. I'll keep everyone posted. But so far, Buckley is winning the race. Get yer votes in.

I voted for Buckley. Why? 1) He's kind of the face of the strip. They could all have plush toys, but he should be first. 2) There is no #2. And here I thought I was going to go somewhere with that...well anyway, my vote is in. Looks like it's almost a dead heat between Buckley and Steve.

Tucker's not huggable, so he's not in my considerations. Okay, maybe a little huggable, but I don't want him staring at me as I sleep. Buckley and Steve are my first two choices, and I can't decide which I'd prefer. I think Buckley's more huggable(thicker and lacking plastic or wire in utensils), but Steve is more iconic and will get more questions. I'm not sure I'll be able to choose between those two. Martin isn't main enough for a first plush. I think size is what matters most in my decision(no jokes intended). If it's big enough to hug, Buckley. If it's small and sits atop a computer monitor, then Steve.

Maybe we can get one of the guys to comment on the possible size of the plush toys. I've heard rumors of them being 10 to 12 inches tall. Can someone back me up on this?
Buckley is holding a slim lead. Exciting!
