Okay gang, I'm going to make a rare move in my Pinkerton career and ask your opinion. You may or may have not noticed but I've been using a new font for about a month now. To be honest, I'm on the fence. So I'd like to get your opinion. Do you like the original Pinkerton font: Or the new one: Speak up now!

Wit...you know I love you like the bald brother you are...but I haven't liked the font since you introduced it. I think part of your overall look is the uniqueness of your font. I think the typed font is jarring and doesn't fit the strip near as well as your old one. Sometimes a unique font can detract from the experience if not done well, but it's always been a strength for you. I think the new one looks like it's just something you type in at the last minute. Better than Courier, but still.... My two cents...

I personally prefer the original lettering, I think it matched the style of your artwork better and seemed more like classic handwriting for a strip than the more digital clean look of the new font. That goes for the logo as well. To me your old font was uniquel Pinkerton, the new one feels like something 500 people have.

I'm on "Team Old Font", too. The new font just seems a bit too slick and clean for the nature of Pinkerton. The old font lends itself well to voices that may be a little south of intelligent, or sober.

That was my concern from the beginning too. I was hoping that as time passed and I played with it a little it would feel more at home.

I'm definitely on the old font bandwagon. It's funny becasue I was just thinking about it the other day which reading a Pinkerton strip. I didn't think the new font ever felt Pinkerton-y to me. I think the old font has become a part of Pinkerton's identity.
