For those of you that leave comments in the blog, post a message here to let us know that you're in here as well.
The forum is much more interactive than the comments section and will let us talk about all sorts of things.

I was looking for a way to post some fan art for LOB..I'm not very skilled in surfing (the web that is, on the waves I rock!) I was all confused by the LOB webpage..and especially frustrated on fan art Fridays. Now I can finally relax...I hope O_O

Alive and kicking. Thank you for the welcome. If this is an introductory thread, I'm a California resident. I live in an apartment under the iron rule of with two cats and one girlfriend. I work for a hotel chain. When I'm not wasting my time at work, I can be found bicycling to the beach, reading, or playing an adventure game on the computer. I just finished the latest "Monkey Island" game and have started one called "Abbey." I'm strictly a PC gamer. I have no consoles. I think I will be a dinosaur in short time. Presently, my favorite author is Neil Gaiman but who knows who it will be in another month? I discovered LoB only last October and it took until December before I had caught up with all the backstory and felt comfortable commenting. P.S. I'm feeling really good about myself now because I have finished my taxes and mailed them before the end of January.

Thanks for inviting me on your cartoon's own thread, David...inviting me personally, no less. I have to love the early scenes in your strip where Bill encounters this "more barbaric than thou" man in a clothing store. How do such people get started, and how do they grow? Do they eat cows for breakfast? On the other hand...I'm still trying to find my eyeballs after your recent fashion show. Ever hear of Robert Heinlein's statement that women are often MORE sexy when they cover up?

Greetings, friends! Yo, Lee! Great to see you here! Thanks for the drop-in, bd! Johanan: Ah-ha! Welcome to the other side. lol. Great to see you here. Yes, "Kruul," the o ther barbarian - you will see more of him in the future, trust me on that. I just wrote 10-12 strips with Bill and him about a month ago for the future. Hilarity and stupidity are sure to ensue. Glad you liked the fashion shjow. ;-) And no, hadn't heard that Heinlein quote, but yes, it is oft true indeed.

Hi David,
"Kruul", huh? And we're going to see more of him? I had a feeling you wouldn't throw him aside so easily; he has too much dramatic (and comedic) potential.
I reset my signature so that you and others may easily find my own project (oh, for the ability to draw like Frank Cho to go along with it!). I also tipped off the board in the thread where we're dared to notify others of our work. If you have the time in your already horrendously busy schedule, I hope you'll drop by and put in a comment or two. Only two draft chapters are up, and when I prepare the novel MS. for review at Marcher Lord Press, it will then be subject to more revisions. But this is something I've wanted to put into print for decades and I think I'm finally ready to try.
(P.S.: The saying under my avatar, "Long live the Undying Singer!", refers to the chief protagonist and narrator of the story. I do have various action figures and photos as the inspiration for many of my characters, which are given links accordingly.)

Hey David,
Since then I've been putting everything under lock and key, so if you want the password you'll have to write to my privately. Presumably there's a way to do that here...?

Johanan (and anyone else),
You can send a private message to a user by clicking on their name (above their avatar), which then displays their profile information. Down toward the bottom of the profile page in the Additional Information section is a link "Send this member a personal message".

Thanks, Don.
Johanan - I'll check it out in that case when I get a chance - I'm buried at the moment and don't want to simply humor you, I'd rather concentrate on it properly and give real feedback! Good luck with your project - it sounds exciting! (and the image makes me feel all warm and fuzzzzzyyyy) ;-)
