Wow, this issue is absolutely fantastic so far. The art and writing are just fantastic and are meshing perfectly...the mood that is created is awesomely foreboding and the suspense is palpable.
On your website you asked for theories as to what'll happen next. My theory is that we'll have a graveyard confrontation of some kind coming up, which will carry with it a big reveal concerning SD's pa.
I also have a question concerning the altruistic teacher who seems to have taken an interest in SD. After he prevented Kevin from beating up SD, I looked at him again and, though I hate to be corny, he looked kind of like a Jesus figure. Am I on target here, or has too much

addled my brain and convinced me that religious symbolism is everywhere in literature and graphic novels? Because the latter is a definite possibility. haha.
Also, I just wanted to say thanks for keeping the pages coming even during your unemployment. That really sucks man, and I admire you for having the work ethic to continue with this in these trying times.

PTA,
Sorry I haven't replied. After a while I just sorta stopped checking my forum. Unless I started a thread, nothing was happening, so I slacked off. I'll try to do better.
Glad you're enjoying issue 3. Still hard to believe I've made it this far.
Gee, how to respond to your guesses... Good guesses, but I'd be a pretty crappy storyteller if I revealed story points by acknowledging or negating said theories. There is still alot of story to tell. Even book one has almost 50 pages (a little over 2 issues) of story left. And there are 3 more books beyond that. There is some BIG stuff coming. In fact the end of book one might seriously piss off some of people. I don't want to say too much.
As far as not dropping the ball during my unemployment, thank you for the kind words.
Thanks so much for keeping my little forum active. Maybe one day it'll be uber active.
Later,
Chip
