Okay. So I've got the new site up. Still lots of decorating and housekeeping to do. My new server uses a different version of PHPmyadmin so it's a little tricky getting the old posts and links up. I'd really like to thank everyone that emailed me with offers to help out with my hosting. Makes it a lot easier to trudge through problems with that kind of support. And also it's obviously a day after the launch of DeD in Newpapers. So far it's running in Atlanta and in the ST. Paul press. I'm waitiing on the launch dates for Chicago, Vancouver and Chattanooga. Denver starts up in January. So now it's back to figuring out how to import my DB using phpmyadmin 2.4 from 2.6.

Well after some rough feedback in the Detroit News from MAry Worth readers, the editors decided to pick up DeD! Thanks to everyone that sent in feedback to the paper. They had replaced Mary Worth with DeD in order to try it out. And although the comments on DeD were favorable, the Mary Worth fans were pretty outraged. Hopefully they'll keep it now too.

It's a happy start to 2006 for DeD. The Chicago Tribune replaced Calvin & Hobbes today with DeD! (Thanks to Worth for the info!)
