For years I’ve had a Sony voice recorder strapped to my belt. It’s saved a lot of random ideas that always strike when there isn’t a Moleskine nearby. And now I’m going to see just how smart my smart phone is. So far it’s a pocket office. I can post to my blogs, twitter or facebook. And everything syncs with Google.

The next step is to test drive the voice to text apps. If one of them works, I can dictate straight to Google docs anywhere, anytime. No matter how well it works out, I’ll never part with my fountain pens and Moleskines.
