Still struggling with my Herbin ink. Mind you, I’m a lefty so that means trouble anyway with fountain pens.

Today I broke out one of my Rotring Skynns. These are terribly comfortable to write with, yet not lefty friendly. The Herbin ink didn’t perform any better out of the Skynn than the Pilot Petit or my Ohto.

So, I emptied my tried and true Lamy Safari and poured in some of the cursed Herbin. And of course it works like a charm. Now I’m need of another Safari as it is my main sketching pen. Not a bad excuse to grab one with a wider nib.

Next up, I might push my luck and yank my Rotring Core out of retirement.
