New Pencil in the Stable

This beauty, a Kuru Toga, just arrived from jetpens.com. Why another pencil? Ah, see, like every other mechanical lead head, I’ve suffered through “dull edge†syndrome that plagues every user of mechanical pencils. This pencil rotates the lead to keep it sharp. I haven’t been using it too long, yet so far I’m happy. Of course the fact that it comes in my favorite color (see pic above) might bias my review. On a sad note, this pencil may very well bump my uni tri-lead pencil from my starting position. The advantage of having blue lead and, well, lead lead in one pencil doesn’t beat a constant sharp point. Now if only they made the pro model in orange.
