Bee Addiction
. Ever since I was a three foot fanboy, Bumblebee was thee greatest and my favorite transformers (Soundwave was a close second and yes I still have my original collection). SO when I first saw the concept designs for the new transformers I was a bit put off like a lot of fans. However yellow (really yellow/orange) is my favorite color. I’m a muscle car fanatic and that goes doubly for the modern incarnations. And out of all the new bots in the latest films, the big yellow guy has the most distinct character and personality. I am an unabashed Bumblebee junkie. Be on the look out for him in upcoming strips. Me on twitter: http://www.twitter.com/dogeatdoug

Me too! And, me too! Along with the big guy (Optimus Prime) of course. I was very disappointed that Shockwave was missing from the movies. And while I like the portrayal of Bumblebee in the movies, I *don’t* like the new toy

Have you seen the new deluxe version of Bumblebee? It’s a bit pricey but looks just like the robot from the film.

Bumblebee was always my favorite Transformer as a kid. I ended up actually getting a yellow 1974 VW Bug when I was in college. I was a bit disappointed when he became a Camero for the film, but I guess GM was a sponsor and GM never made the VW.

Michael Bay knew from the beginning he wouldn’t make Bumblebee a VW. Too much like Herbie. But he had access to GM’s facility for concept cars and saw the Camaro. I actually love it, then again I’m a muscle car fanatic.
