A day that needs to be everyday.

http://www.sealfund.org/index.html Growing up I was a complete G.I. Joe fanboy (insert shocked gasps here). My favorite character was LT. TORPEDO. He was a SEAL. It wasn’t until eighth grade while browsing books in library that I discovered SEALS weren’t just stars of animated TV Shows. No, these were real men who voluntarily pushed themselves past normal human physical and mental limits. Not for money or glory, but for the love of their country. It was at that moment that my heroes were no longer guys who skated around slapping hunks of rubber with sticks. And it was from that moment on I researched and studied everything I could dig up on SEALs and Special Operations. It was an education that would change they way I perceived the world. Anytime I was struggling with what I considered a challenge, I just thought of what all the Spec Ops warriors put themselves through and what they are able to achieve. Those soldiers are a constant, daily inspiration to me as I know they are to millions of others. So keep them in your thoughts and prayers this weekend and every day after.
