Ink Stained Fingers
|
Yes, that’s a good thing. Today I started inking the first piece for the new comic project. And I’ve gone back to absolutely one of my favorite tools: the dip pen. Well, it’s actually an Ackerman pump pen so you don’t dip it. Just push the rubbery pump and more ink spills into the nib (and sometimes onto the drawing). The plan is to have numerous strips done before launch. It’s a weekly comic, due in part to my schedule and also the detailed nature of the art. So I’ll have to see about sneaking a few samples onto the site. We’ll see. Me on twitter: http://www.twitter.com/dogeatdoug |

I look forward to seeing your new comic project. I use a Speedball B6 for OH-NO comics myself and seem to constantly have ink stained fingers.
