hey, so true…it’s the reason we have a special box in the basement for anything containing an audio chip (can’t bear to toss ‘em) — especially those REALLY annoying voice changer things that makes your voice sound like mickey mouse or a robot, etc.

now come on, those are actually pretty sweet! Unless of course the child in question is manically in love with said toy, in which case you want to breat it on some hard surface, preferably on the head of the creator.
