Calling all readers in Georgia!!!
January 12th, 2009
The Atlanta Journal and Constitution is dropping a whole page of comics. And unfortunately DeD is on the list to be axed. Which is truly disheartening, as Georgia readers have been some of the most supportive since day one.
So if you’re in the AJC area, please drop them a line or complete the online poll:

Losing the AJC would be crushing. So I’m hoping the DeD army turns out in force. Thanks!

I can’t believe they cut DeD. I’m so sad. I just sent you a long email mourning the loss but thought i’d comment here too. I might go on strike from the AJC.

I can’t believe DeD lost to Judge Parker! Sorry, man.
FYI, Clovis has a little surprise of Judge Parker on Friday!

Man…that’s awful. Not only that they’re cutting DeD, but they’re cutting a full page of comics? The slow, painful death of the newspaper industry is tragic indeed. One of the nation’s 20 largest newspapers, the Minneapolis Star Tribune, declared bankruptcy yesterday. The first of many, I fear.
Good luck getting DeD reinstated in Atlanta!

That sucks. The AJC was where I first saw this strip, I believe in May of 2008.
