An Absolute Must Read
Quite often I recommend books. And obviously these are books I’ve enjoyed, but now I’m plugging a book that I more than recommend and am bordering on demanding you read.
The world of “Monster Blood Tattoo” is by far one of the most spectacular, fully realized, fantasy worlds I have ever encountered. It’s is one of those all to rare books where the curtain of words parts and you are there (although in this case you will notice the words as MBT does have its own diction which is part of the dazzling fun of the book). You truly will get lost in this world. This series is the kind you beg the writing gods to populate the shelves with.
Enough rambling. Go forth and explore the website, or the writer/illustrator’s blog.

Hmm. I received an ARC of Monster Blood Tattoo a long time ago and it has been sitting on my shelf pretty much ever since. I did try to start it but I was confused right at the beginning and that sort of threw me off. So what you are saying is that I should give this another try, huh?

Give it one more shot. Although, like any book, it just might not be your “type”. I tried several times to get into the Harry Potter books and it just never clicked. Nothing wrong with the books (or the story), just wasn’t my cup of herbal tea. And this one does have a few hurdles in regards to language.

I’m pretty sure even mimes make fun of mimes.
And I shall give MBT another shot, I’ll take it off my shelf and add it to my To Be Read pile. Just for you. Because you’ve created the best comic that’s been around in years so you have to know what you’re talking about most of the time.

Thanks for the kind words. And most of the time I’m talking about what I don’t know about, but I’m a genius when it comes to mime trivia.
