    I have never been able to draw a nice-to-the-eye horse head. Ticks me off…but I am grateful I have yet to find one in my bed.

    I use a lot of reference photos when drawing horses. Although when I was little I had an awesome book on drawing horses and it still helps today.

    Thanks Vickie. This story line is roughly based on real life. We took our son to watch his cousin’s riding competition. Then just thought it would be fun to have Sophie meet some horses.
