Liam had his flu shot yesterday. Poor little bugger. Still, he doesn't complain much, all so Daddy can have more material for the strip. He's a real team player.

Yah, uh Bugger:
1. Informal. a fellow or lad (used affectionately or abusively): a cute little bugger.
There are other definitions and if that’s your pet peeve, get some help.

Well, that reply was unnecessarily rude. If you want to go around using a vulgar phrase, more power to you.

I don’t think it was rude at all. The word has multiple meanings, and one of them was applicable and used correctly in context. Many, many words have multiple meanings; that’s the wonderful thing about our language.
